Ellen Math Henrichen

The five mentors for 2017-2018 are ready to be presented! Here is a short description of our third one.
Ellen holds a Bachelor of finance and marketing from the University of Windsor in Canada, 1989.

She has had several leading roles throughout her career and she is currently director of Rogaland Teater. Rogaland Teater AS is one of the largest and most important regional theaters. The company is owned by the Municipality of Stavanger, Rogaland County Council and the State.

Prior to her employment at Rogaland Teater, she was General Manager at Måltidets Hus, where she was managing the Norwegian Food Cluster through the NCE program. From that time of her career she is known for her impressive structure and clear profile for the company that achieved far better media coverage. Before that time, she worked as Marketing Director of Skanem and Marketing Director at GE Money Bank. She has previously worked with economy in Bates Advertising, Total Norge and originally she is an accountant.

Ellen has demonstrated good results through her career within leadership and market development. She is also proficient in organizational development and financial management. As a leader, Ellen values empowerment, engagement and challenging goals. In her view, the greatest sucesses comes from collective and collaborative platforms.

Ellen has extended experience from various Board of directors, both listed and smaller companies and network organizations. Her mentoring background is both as a mentor and mentee and she values the impact a mentoring relationship can have on both parties.

When not working, she spends most of her time either in the stable, where she is working on a neverending quest to learn how to ride her horse or at home in the kitchen, trying to cook up something nice for her hungry family and friends.
